Flare Dancer- Freya

drew an anthro version of him recently and posted it... Making me unable to resist putting up my favorite girly-boy myself. This cute little desert dancer is Freya, one of my "true" OCs. He's a character in one of my own stories, so I won't say too much about him... He is the lone survivor of an ancient desert civilization due to being thrown into a veeery special oasis when parasitic thorn spirits ravaged his people and took control of everyone. The last surviving 'thorn,' ironically enough, broke free of the seal placed on its kind by the Ancients before their demise and possessed him. However, it made the mistake of wounding Desyl (AKA Alan... to be blunt, he's my first ever gay character. guess who his uke/"waifu" is. just guess.), another character of mine, which pissed Freya off and allowed him to conquer the spirit. The thorn now protects its host loyally, and Heaven help anyone who knocks Freya out...

Aaaaanyway... Freya was found unconscious and memory-less at an oasis hidden in an area known as the Mirage Dunes, where most people who entered got hopelessly lost. At that point, his hair was a dark brown-black and his eyes were an also-typical desert-dwelling hue, grey-black. His tattoos also weren't visible. This was a disguise placed on him so he'd fit in. Now that he looks like he really does, he's the only red-head in the entire desert! Freya unconsciously made clothes and dressed like the Ancient he is while he was an amnesiac, though he also wore a veil (which Desyl/"Alan" LOVED to steal!), now wearing them on purpose, and learned his fighting style from female warriors. He LOVES to dance, and his weapon of choice reflects this: rather than wielding a sword, Freya makes use of metal cloth with small blades attached... or something like that. I haven't really worked it out yet. He's a bit of a stickler for propriety, especially when he first meets Desyl, but the other boy's influence has greatly loosened him up over time. Freya's so girly-looking that many people mistake him for a female dancer from behind, and as you may have guessed, he is Desyl's uke. Please don't flame me.

It feels so GOOD to say this...
Desyl and Freya are MINE. ALLLL MINE. DON'T YOU DARE STEAL THEM OR ELSE. I was iffy enough about posting this as is.
