Burner, Zynge, and Silas

Just a quick face/bust study I did a while back and finally got around to coloring a day or two ago... I've already talked about Zynge and Burner here ( [link] ), so I'll just introduce Silas, I guess. He started out as just a humanized-Zynge, but I liked his design so much that I decided to make him an actual character. Silas is Dyrian's nephew (he's about 14-ish, roughly) and a trainee Hunter, though he seems a lot more interested in and adept at tinkering with things and coming up with unique gadgets and ways to solve problems than learning the shamanic techniques of his bloodline. His father doesn't really mind this since the kid is so good at what he does, even if it happens to be something new and entirely different from tradition. Incidentally, Silas was the one primarily responsible for designing Jan's equipment, though a village smith or three and several travelling leatherworkers were the ones who did most of the actual crafting.

...Anyway. Silas and Zynge have the exact same face, and if they were members of the same race, would be doppelgangers of each other. Silas's vest also has a cool design on it, but I didn't draw it here... Looks like the randomly-chosen color scheme for the Tarune family is here to stay, because even though it was just a spur-of-the-moment thing with Dyrian, the colors actually suit Silas reeeaaally well!

...I'm not sure what else to ramble about without just babbling about stuff that makes no sense, so... shutting up now.
